I was asked if I was just mad at the GOP leadership for not supporting our campaign.  The answer is “Hell No!”

I am mad that they are not supporting you the voters, you the People in the 7th who have suffered so long under Andre Carson and poor GOP leadership for the last 20 years!

When we started this campaign 10 months ago, we decided we wouldn't wait or focus on the leaderships support.  Instead, we would take our message to the people.  And we have.

The people are talking, we have been listening.  We can win this without their leadership.  Wouldn't that be an embarrassment to them.  But our focus is our message about You the People!  No more I, I, I’s or me, me, me’s from politicians who are in it for themselves.  This campaign is about YOU!

You deserve better!  And our Team will deliver!  We have already been helping people across the District.  We have more experience in 10 months helping people in the 7th than Andre has in 12 years!

As for name recognition, Russell Johnson was the Professor on Gillighan’s Island.  I go by Rusty so they don’t call me Professor.  My wife says like that’s ever going to happen.  

Plus, I have more streets named after me than anyone else, Dead End!  So there you go.
